What are the responsibilities and job description for the Claims Administrator position at SageSure?
Overview:
SageSure is looking for a process-driven individual to drive consistency in our vendor payments, data collection and ability to support our partners and their needs for claims. This business minded, technology savvy person will play a key role to ensure we execute to consistent processes to ensure timely and accurate payments to our vendors, as well as preparation of vendor performance data. The ideal candidate must be able to work proficiently in multiple systems, have a strong learning agility, and be able to aggregate information for use by others. As SageSure's Claims team grows, you'll be a key part of ensuring we scale with a business technology focus to drive us into the future. What you'd be doing:
- Ensures timely payment to vendors
- Reviews output of bill auditing and prepares invoice files for entry into claims system
- Manually processes some vendor payments
- Prepare monthly billing files for claim handling fees using data from multiple sources
- Reviews claims system for accuracy of vendor payments entered
- Responsible for preparing vendor Data and Reporting for vendor manager
- Uses multiple sources to create vendor scorecards against KPIs
- Supports vendor manager, Claims leadership, and corporate finance with research and Claims financial data as needed
- Supports compliance and SOC efforts as they relate to Claims ALAE payments
- Works with FP&A to ensure actuals and reforecast projections align with Claims model and ALAE expenses
We're looking for someone who has:
- 1 or more years of claims or vendor support experience
- Experience with business intelligence tools
- Exceptionally Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Smartsheet
- Experience of working with stakeholders at various levels of seniority
- Adaptable and willing to learn on the job
- Knowledge of the Insurance and Reinsurance markets, or experience in a similar environment
- Working knowledge of claims processes and operating models, or experience in a similar environment
Highly preferred candidates also have:
- Property Claims experience to include catastrophe
- Process mapping tools and techniques
- Professional designations
