Description

SAIC is seeking a junior to mid-level Business Analyst to support its FAA customer. The successful candidate will support and provide the following:

  • Project management and communication of activities and status.
  • Prepare and review documents, manage timelines, and provide feedback. 
  • Develop Screening Information Request (SIR) inputs and coordinate evaluation plans.
  • Ensure program activities and schedules are aligned to release and evaluate SIR in support of FID and contract award.
  • Contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and cooperative working relationships.
  • Work closely with personnel located at the FAA Headquarters in Washington DC. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors and at least five (5) years of related experience.
  • Understanding of the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) and related activities, processes and documentation required, to include Screening Information Requests and Statements of Work.
  • Demonstrated skills in performing computer driven analysis of the economic, statistical, accounting, and financial principles and techniques necessary to support the management of procurements involving major systems acquisitions. 
  • Familiarity and responsibility in project and portfolio budgeting, cost control, forecasting scheduling and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Project, Power Point, and Word.
  • Ability to satisfy FAA security and resume approval processes.

US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
