Description
SAIC is seeking a General Clerk to provide support at the SAIC Middletown, RI Office for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center for multiple programs.
DUTIES:
- Provide support in arranging materials and products and developing procurement documentation including; completion, scanning, archiving, and management of procurement records and transportation/transfer requests.
- Interface with vendors to obtain quotes, updating Excel spreadsheets with relevant information, kitting and tracking inventory.
- Interface with customers to develop procurement requirements and to provide status updates, attend meetings, develop meeting minutes and track action items.
- Develop MS Excel procurement tracking documentation; and develop project management support documents including program plans, office.\
- Work in the shipping & receiving department unloading packages and heavy freight.
- Check-in packages and verifying contents.
- Create labels and send out packages.
- Maintain the Microsoft Excel package tracking spreadsheet.
- Deliver material to customers on the NUWC Naval Base.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- MS Office proficiency including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
CLEARANCE:
- Ability to acquire SECRET clearance
