Description
Qualified applicant will become part of our Huntsville, AL based Lifecycle Logistics Management Program supporting government customers in supply chain management, integrated logistics operations, and performance based business practices adherence to lean / best practices and concepts. These business concepts will be applied to management practices in all aspects of Program Management and weapon system sustainment, e.g., Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control and Total Asset Visibility, including shipping and receiving, configuration management, distribution management, training, field and depot maintenance, and software integration. Qualified individual will have experience in warehousing/supply chain management and will be capable of analyzing, recommending approaches, and planning for the delivery of necessary training and program management support in compliance with current Commercial and Government best practices.
This position is multi-functional and includes components in logistics database entry and management as well as physical warehousing. Qualified individual will possess relevant experience in the inventory and supply management of products throughout the supply chain; experience in computer database management of equipment is required. Experience with Technical writing, SOP review to include training documents.
Qualifications
Roles and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Manage logistics team of 5-7 personnel on day to day logistical tasks
- Oversee daily supply and inventory management through use of Logistics Management Database tool (COLTS) and physical warehousing
- Supervise integrated shipping and receiving
- Configuration and distribution management
- Support software integration and training initiatives
- Support end-to-end fielding and maintenance management of program equipment
- Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Support the coordination, and facilitate the operational aspects, of other current planning, project-team, and line management
- Communicate with executive, administrative, and line management personnel to gather or convey relevant information
- Document Review and preparation
MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of 12 years of progressive working experience as a technical manager in at least one of the disciplines of Technical Program/Project Management, Cost Management, Life-cycle Management or Project Administration and Contract Management involving such efforts as Engineering Programs, Scientific Studies and Analysis, Logistics Programs, System Acquisitions or related programs consistent with current Industry and Government practices
- Be experienced in Supply and Warehouse management; within Government or Military operations
- Have excellent verbal and writing skills
- Able to obtain a US Security Clearance
- High School degree with 12 years’ experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years full-time, professional, technical experience related to Counter-Unmanned Air systems
- Experience supporting integration of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Item Unique Identification (IUID) applications
- Experience establishing Warehousing operations
- Active US Security Clearance
