Description
SAIC is looking for a Cyberspace Operations Planner to provide SME level operational and strategic expertise as a staff planner in support of cyberspace operations. This position will be located at Fort Meade, MD. Job duties include:
- Draft and integrate information capabilities into deliberate and crisis action plans and cyberspace operations across all command Lines of Operation; ensuring that Joint, interagency, and external partner capabilities are considered and incorporated to the extent possible.
- Develop measures of effectiveness, measures of performance, and intelligence needs for information gaps during the planning process and assessments.
- Review plans to identify specified or implied tasks, responsibilities, legal requirements, and resource and authorities gaps.
- Assist in planning, research, analysis of influence/misinformation/disinformation events and operations, provide specialized expertise in such areas as Information Force employment, Publicly Available Information (PAI) and Intelligence research, target audience cultural knowledge, and assessments.
- Participate in Joint Planning Groups and Operational Planning Teams (JPGs/OPTs), support action officers with planning and integrating IO across all COAs and effects, and remain cognizant of command missions, authorities, and priorities.
- Review drafts and provide advice and assistance to OPTs and JPGs.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and nine (9) or more years of related cyberspace and/or information operations experience; Master's degree and seven (7) years or more of related experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Required skills:
- Minimum of 5 years experience with Information Operations planning at the Service or Joint level supporting combatant commands or joint task forces.
- Experience in support of Service or Joint information operations, especially MISO and Joint MILDEC (experience with other information capabilities are desired).
- Experience in support of Service, Combatant Command (CCMD) or Joint cyberspace operations.
- Experience with the Joint Planning Process (JPP), Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP), or similar military planning processes (Military Decision Making Process, Rapid Response Planning Process, etc.).
- Knowledge of DoD and Joint doctrine for Information, Information capabilities, cyberspace operations, and joint targeting.
- Excellent oral, visual, and written communications, and the ability to develop briefing materials for General Officer and SES level audiences.
Required clearance:
- TS/SCI with CI poly required. CI poly must be dated within the last 5 years.

- Joint Professional Military Education I (JPME I) Graduate.
- Service or Joint Information Operations planning course and additional Information Capability planning courses (e.g., JMTC, DOPC, JEWTOC, JCOPC)
