Description
SAIC is seeking an ETL Stage Developer to support our customer US Human Resources Command. The developer will assist the team to translate and load data from multiple databases on antiquated servers to a shared centralize database on a new server to support the technology modernization effort.
NOTE: This position is a fully remote / work from home position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Use IBM DataStage to integrate data to design, develop, move and transform data
Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) Testing Knowledge of programming language mechanics, to include Compiling, Parsing, and Interpretation
Experience with Object-Oriented Programming, scripting, and imperative programming
Ability to incorporate external libraries
Comprehensive understanding of data structures, sorting algorithms, and execution time complexity
Implement basic security
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and two (2) or more years' of experience; education accepted in lieu of degree
Experience using IBM DataStage
Over two years of experience writing SQL scripts and performing data analysis
Comfortable with object-oriented analysis and design
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:
Must be CompTIA Security CE certified prior to start date
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
Must be a current US Citizen
Target salary range: $75,001 - $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
