Description
SAIC is hiring a Military Analyst SME to join our team in Pearl City, HI. The Military Analyst SME provides military operations expertise to projects such as military training, military planning, tactical/operational warfare analysis and documentation support. Provide senior subject matter expertise of the strategic partnerships within the operational headquarters area of responsibility to support sponsored Joint and Multinational exercises and training events. Support exercises and training events in the development of requirements that facilitate warfighter and interagency planning, preparing, rehearsing, and conducting of joint and combined training events and exercises. Assist in the improvement of processes through observation, collection, training delivery, assessment, and information coordination during readiness, strategic assessments, and operational assessments. Provide oversight and preparation support for After Action Reviews for exercises, seminars and other mission rehearsal events (as required) focused on the Command’s training objectives and other related issues. Provide senior subject matter expertise to support event scenario generation, design and decision support and simulation execution within the headquarter's Joint Exercise Program.
Qualifications
- Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more experience.
- Fifteen years of documented experience in successfully planing, managing, and executing large scale exercises at the operational and strategic level for a regional command.
- Fifteen years of experience of analyzing regional geo-politics and translating them into Road to Crisis and exercise storyboards to meet training objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in communicating, through written products and briefings, at operational and strategic levels with senior personnel within the Dept of Defense and Dept of State.
- Capable of travelling extensively in support of regional exercises.
Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
