Description
SAIC is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to act as a change agent for a US Army customer. This individual will lead a high-visibility, mission-critical program, comprised of several multi-disciplinary software product teams that are in the process of transitioning to an Agile methodology. The teams are responsible for the full life cycle development of hundreds of software applications that provide support to Soldiers for their entire career from recruitment to retirement. Overall technical support activities include application development and modernization, cloud migration, and data management.
NOTE: This position is a hybrid position, you may work from home, but the position will require frequent travel into the office for the first 6 months or so while building customer and team rapport.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Direct and lead a highly complex data and application support contract for SAIC
- Manage complex teams consisting of internal and external resources to enable IT transformational activities for a large US Government organization
- Continuously modernize the Customer's portfolio of human resources applications
- Deliver enterprise-wide, scalable data and application solutions
- Balance technical and strategic support activities to fulfill missions
- Manage cost effectively, inclusive of full accountability and apportionment
- Effectively apply service cost and service management practices to achieve full cost transparency
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience as a Program Manager for large scale Information Technology (IT) projects
- Experience with the Federal Procurement process
- Experience managing $50M /year budgets
- Experience managing a minimum of 100 Full-time Equivalents (FTEs)
REQUIRED CERITIFICATIONS:
- Must have a current Project Management Certificate (PMP)
- Must be able to obtain CompTIA Security CE certification
- Must be able to obtain SAFe-SA certification
REQUIRED CLEARANCES:
- Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
- Must be a current US Citizen
Target salary range: $150,001 - $175,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
