Description
SAIC is seeking a Program Security Analyst to support a client within the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) in Chantilly, VA.
The responsibilities of the Program Security Analyst may include but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain classification guides for customer program which include Special Access Programs (SAPs)
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in classification management matters to include mission partner caveats
- Advise and assist security personnel, senior management, assignees, mission partners and industry on classification matters
- Analyze, ascertain, and resolve conflicts relative to the interpretation of classification management and security policy guidance
- Review IC policy documents and distill information to senior management and enterprise as appropriate
- Create, modify and maintain customer security briefing packages
- Conduct security briefings and education/training to customer personnel, mission partners and industry
- Coordinate and resolve Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- HS/GED and fourteen (14) years of experience OR Bachelors and ten (10) years of experience OR Masters and eight (8) years of experience OR PhD or JD and five (5) years of experience.
- Current and active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Polygraph
- Ability to analyze complex information; classification issues; independently take appropriate actions; and review and approve recommendations from others
- Experience drafting or implementing broad classification management guidance and policy at the department, agency, or IC level
- Ability to identify and assess multiple sources for classification determinations
