Description
SAIC is seeking a Physical Security Principle to support corporate facilities and multiple programs/customers within the organization. This role is 100% remote and can be worked anywhere in the US.
This position will work within a small team of physical and technical security subject matter experts (SME) ensuring all facilities meet SAIC and customer security standards. The candidate will provide oversight for assigned SCIF, SAP/F, and Closed Area construction/modification projects, conducting construction drawing reviews and recommending the appropriate mitigations. Additionally, the position will ensure all SAIC facilities have the appropriate access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems. Duties include preparation of security plans, reviewing applicable regulations, and established procedures for all areas within the physical/technical security discipline. As a member of the Physical/Technical Security Program, the individual must have the requisite knowledge and experience to guide local security teams, serve as a subject matter expert to program management and function as a security liaison to both internal and external customers.

Additional duties and/or responsibilities:
- Coordinate closely with the SAIC Corporate Real Estate team and other functional support elements.
- Provide subject matter expertise to each facility project assigned.
- Oversight and management of security integrator subcontracts and performance.
- Design ACS/IDS/CCTV systems for corporate offices in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
- Submit request for proposal (RFP) to security integrators and review returned proposals for technical acceptance.
- Coordinate with security systems integrators to install and commission ACS/IDS/CCTV systems.
- Assists in the development, management of and the implementation of the organization's Physical and Technical Security program.
- Conduct physical security surveys and vulnerability assessments and participate in security inspections, assessments and reviews.
- Serve as technical authority for implementing physical security measures to ensure physical security policies, standards and procedures are established and enforced.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance
- Experience designing/administering Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems and CCTV. (Lenel, DMP, and Eagle Eye preferred)
- Experience building SCIF's, SAP/F's, and Closed Areas.
- Experience reading facility and engineering drawings.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and briefing skills; communicate with senior level internal and external personnel on matters requiring coordination between organizations and independent decision making with minimal direct supervision.
- Thorough understanding of the NISPOM, ICD-705, and UL-2050.
- Minimum 5 years of Physical/Technical Security experience
Required Education and Experience:
- High School and 14 years' experience; Associates Degree and 12 years' experience; Bachelors and 10 years or more of related experience; Masters and 8 years or more experience ; PhD or JD and 5 years or more experience.
