Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is seeking a Princiapl System Administrator to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.
SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation's information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).
JOB DESCRIPTION: Supports lifecycle administration of infrastructure, systems and applications used in the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environment and provides PKI Registration Authority (RA) to authenticate users and devices for unclassified and classified DCSA IT systems IAW DoD and DCSA OCIO policies and procedures. Issues, revokes, and recovers PKI certificates for end users and devices. Provides support to other trusted PKI roles in accordance with DCSA strategy. Provides PKI knowledge to DCSA stakeholders and end users to understand the usage and responsibilities involved with PKI certificates. Supports troubleshooting and technical assistance for software and hardware certificates. Performs analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. Supports lifecycle of all IT environments, and performs software installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and version currency and refresh of infrastructure hardware, software, and service components. Monitors enterprise operations, system configurations, and traffic to provide optimization, capacity management, security, and improvement recommendations. Provides domain access and account administration services. Supports encrypted incremental and full system backups and off-site storage, as well as system and data restoration and archiving of file data and user information. Resolves server issues using applicable protocols, and supports documentation of technology, solutions, plans, and deployments, especially concerning PKI certificate processes. Supports updating and maintaining DCSA's Key/Certificate Management Plan. Provide inputs into the Activity Report.
