The Technical Writer will be part of a high performing team that is tasked with tasked with supporting the VA DoD Identity Repository (VADIR) and the Veterans Information Solution (VIS).

Your primary responsibilities are to write and update material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement process improvements, including future state design, change management, and transition planning
- Interface with all areas of project including customer, computer services, and client services
- Provide oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes, and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established standards and agency guidelines
- Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance
- Work directly with operating entities to provide process analyses oversight on a continuing basis to enforce requirements and meet guidelines
- May coordinate with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls
- May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with 5 years of experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience is required. An additional 5 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of education.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance under VA regulations.
