A Selling Specialist is a part-time sales driven role who specializes in in-store support at Sephora. Responsible for increasing sales volume and productivity by providing an exceptional in-store experience and effective education to improve brand awareness.
Responsible for:
• Product sales with the ability to recruit potential clients, consult and build a sale in a Sephora environment.
• Training on product attributes, ingredients, and application techniques in-store.
• Skill assess, retention check, role play, practice "did you know" questions during training.
• Successfully planning and executing events at store level.
• Building strong, collaborative relationships with store teams and other brand partners.
• Regular communication with Saie team, providing valuable feedback from in-store:
• Customer & competitive feedback, inventory & merchandising issues, opportunities to participate in additional support.
• Results-driven sales tracking and reporting to help achieve corporate goals.
• Maintaining a consistent calendar of visiting stores on peak days and hours.
• Uphold the visual standards of tester units and gondolas.
Qualifications:
• 3 years beauty retail experience (Sephora experience required)
• 2 years makeup artist experience required.
• Must be energized and passionate about clean beauty, specifically "clean" and "sustainable".
• Must be comfortable applying makeup, giving recommendations, and shade matching to all skin tones.
• Excellent organization and communication skills;
written, verbal and presentation.
• Memorable, positive attitude, and professional presence.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule - weekends often required.
• Ability to speak to a group, inspire and motivate teams.
• Must be willing to travel locally as needed.
• May require a valid driver's license and vehicle ownership.
