Overview
The Accountant is responsible for, but not limited to, performing general accounting functions that include reconciling all balance sheet accounts, resolving exceptions, posting entries, and assisting with month end closing and financial reporting.

Saiia Construction Company LLC, a MasTec company, is currently hiring for an Accountant to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Reconciles all balance sheet accounts on monthly basis.
- Resolves exceptions on balance sheet accounts.
- Reconciles cash management on a daily/monthly basis.
- Handles all cash receipts and accounts receivable entries.
- Maintains accounts payable and accounts receivable aging schedules.
- Reconciles construction in progress accounts monthly.
- Prepares and posts daily job cost entries for equipment day rates.
- Prepares and posts direct job cost entries.
- Assists with monthly financial reporting.
- Participates in various audits throughout year.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as, general ledgers, bid specification details, accounting rules, operating and fiscal management manuals, procedure manuals, or governmental regulations.
