It helps its clients manage every aspect of their ERP Initiative, from strategic planning to everyday operations.Job DescriptionJob Title:  Data ArchitectLocation:   Harrisburg, PADuration:   6 Months (Strong possibilities of extensions)  Short Description:Client seeks an experienced data architect to provide senior technical direction and leadership and serve as the chief data architect for the Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) Legacy Modernization Project.Complete Description:    Client seeks an experienced data architect to provide senior technical direction and leadership and serve as the chief data architect for the Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) Legacy Modernization Project.    This is a strategic initiative to modernize DVS application systems and data that involves moving large and complex legacy data stores from mainframe IMS and DB2 to distributed Oracle databases.    The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and participating in all aspects of data architecture, quality assessment, modeling and migration using tools such as ERWin, Informatica PowerCenter and TOAD.    The selected candidate will lead a highly-skilled team, including a Business Data Architect, Data Modeler and an ETL Developer. Specific Duties:    Participate as a senior technical subject matter expert in system modernization and data migration project planning efforts.    Design, develop and oversee the execution of processes for collecting business and technical metadata for legacy data.    Design, develop and oversee the execution of processes for legacy data profiling and data quality analysis.    Lead and participate in conceptual, logical and physical data modeling of large and complex databases using ERWin.    Lead and participate in database development in Oracle 11g and 12c.    Lead and participate in developing Informatica ETL processes for migrating legacy databases from mainframe IMS and DB/2 to Oracle.Skills Required / Desired :Overall IT experience Required 10 Years    Data modeling experience using ERWin or similar modeling tools Required 7 YearsOracle database design and development experience, including PL/SQL Required 7 YearsETL development experience using Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tools Required 7 YearsLegacy data migration experience, preferably with some IMS experience Required 5 YearsTechnical team leadership experience Required 3 YearsData profiling and data quality assessment experience Required 2 YearsStrong oral and written communication skills Required    Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
