Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, is seeking a full-time, year-round Assistant Registrar, Operations and Systems. Reporting directly to the Registrar, the Assistant Registrar provides the Office of the Registrar with comprehensive data systems administration and helps oversee the day-to-day operations of technical matters within the department. Serves as the computer systems point person for Registration and Records, and collaborates with the Office of Information Technology to meet the data administration and computer needs of the Registrar office.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the systems operation of the office, including training of the support staff in all systems related to registration and records
- Continue developing and maintaining the departments Operational Master Planner Calendar and to assist with the coordination of daily office operations
- Design, conduct, and execute reports and ensure report validation, for both internal and external constituents
- Serve as the office information systems point person, collaborating with Information Technology staff regarding the implementation and maintenance of administrative software for registration and records (Jenzabar and/or Workday)
- Provide direction to the office for processes related to Jenzabar and/or Workday, report writing (Cognos 10), the Campus Portal, and any new software or updates to current systems that the College may implement
- Promote and support automation of freshmen orientation, online registration and add/drop, Advanced Placement processing
- Serve as the department point person in the implementation of Workday, ongoing maintenance with OnBase, Parchment for transcript production and distribution, the National Student Clearinghouse for enrollment and degree verification, supporting Institutional Research with IPEDS reporting, institutional Census reporting each term, and VA-Once for certifying VA benefits.
- Maintain data integrity and conduct systematic clean-up of electronic records
- Serve as the operational lead in the implementation of new curricular initiatives, re-structuring of curricular requirements; accountable for on-going systems adjustments for these initiatives, such as modifications to and maintenance of degree audits and reports; responsible for on-going evaluation of system implications of new degrees, new majors and minor programs, and other programs such as the second degree program.
- Partial functional and administrative supervision of office clerical/administrative staff.

QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred) and a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired. Other qualifications include:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel is required,
- 3-5 years of experience using enterprise database software systems, running queries and report writing such as Cognos reports. Experience writing SQL preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and time-management skills
- Proven ability to multitask in a high volume setting
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Experience working within a higher education setting is preferred.
- Experience working with Jenzabar and/or Workday preferred.
