Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time, salaried position of Assistant to the Director, Dining Services. This position will assist the dining services director with all facets of communications, customer service, merchandising, and special projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that the overall operation is meeting established standards in the areas of customer service and maintenance of positive relations and communications with student residents and other constituents.
The Assistant to the Director will be responsible for the overall marketing, merchandising, and communication to include web design and maintenance of our website as well as creating department literature, designing and producing marketing and promotional material, customer surveys. They will also promote and support nutrition education, maintain reference materials and bulletin boards.
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related discipline, strong computer skills with knowledge and experience with computerized POS systems, food production systems, and office procedures are a plus. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required, along with marketing and merchandising experience. University/college food service experience desirable. The successful candidate will have a high level of energy and a record of accomplishment as well as creativity and flexibility. Must be available to work some evenings and weekends.
