What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Scheduler / Analyst position at Saint-Gobain?
This position is accountable for the maintenance and execution of the master production schedule. The incumbent works closely with plant supervision and other members of the production planning team to monitor production requirements for machines and manpower resources. The incumbent identifies constraints, schedules new orders to most effectively utilize plant resources, provides feedback to supervision on changes or events that effect the production environment, maintains the production schedule to reflect changes and recommends actions relative to lead time schedules. Objectives of this position are based upon continuous improvements in on time delivery, cycle time reduction and cost avoidance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors in Business Administration Engineering or Operations Management 3-5 Years in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of Just-In-Time, Time Based Manufacturing and Theory of Constraints principlesAdditional Description
