Job Description Summary Assist the Student Financial Support Center in day to day operations relating to student(s) / families visiting the office and general support of staff. Job Description Responsibilities: Student(s) assistants will be responsible for: Greeting students, families, faculty, and staff visiting the Student Financial Support Center Assisting with sign in and appointment setting based on the needs of the individual Communicating accurate wait times for guests as well Collect, sort, and process incoming and outgoing mail Office work including but not limited to filing, copying, scanning, and collating Maintaining a clean and organized office area Answering phones as needed Monitor traffic, trends, and observations to communicate with supervisor Provide exceptional customer service Qualifications: Must have Federal Work Study Award Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude Punctuality is a requirement Must maintain strict confidentiality Skills: Experience with MS office Excellent interpersonal and time management skills Excellent oral communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to engage with a variety of constituents (current students, alumni, faculty, etc.) from many different cultural backgrounds. Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to work collegially and collaboratively within a team, and able to react and adjust quickly to changing conditions.
