Saint Vincent College currently has a opening for a Digital Content Creator to provide videography and photography services to Saint Vincent College, and to work as part of the Marketing and Communications team on projects related to the internal and external marketing of the institution.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Communication, Film/Video, Marketing, Media Studies or related field.
Experience:
- Three years of experience in photography, videography, audio/video content creation & post production, which may include documented internships.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, finished photography and videography.
- Advanced knowledge of photo and video production equipment/software.
- Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well with a variety of constituents (e.g., administrators, students, faculty, alumni, donors, etc.)
- Ability to support the mission of Saint Vincent College and to respect the basic teachings of the Catholic, Benedictine tradition, as well as the creeds of other groups represented on campus.
Essential duties:
1. Produce photographic and video content, including event videography, profiles, news-style productions, etc. as part of the College Marketing and Communications team.
2. Develop and manage project calendar/tracker for all items related to college website experience.
3. Work to develop photographic content for the Saint Vincent College magazine and website.
4. Assist in the creation of photo and video content for external advertising channels.
5. Assist the Art Director by generating photo content for College publications, advertising and print materials.
6. Participate in weekly College Marketing and Communications staff meetings as needed.
7. Assist other marketing and communications staff with copywriting, editing, graphic design, social media and/or other areas of marketing in line with the individual’s skillset.
