We’re looking to further expand our talented sales team with the recruitment of a dedicated Account Executive . The person in this role will be responsible for driving new revenue, aligning industry relationships, and growing Sales-i's overall footprint. As an Account Executive you will conduct demonstrations to both qualify and demonstrate the value sales-i delivers to distribution and manufacturing organizations.
Key Responsibilities of the Account Executive:
- Identify key stakeholders within prospect accounts.
- Build relationships with influencers in the distribution and manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrate the sales-i technology to prospects under $1 Billion in revenue to engage within a sales process.
- Understanding of CRM, BI and ERP solutions, and how sales-i fits into the technology stack.
- Identify which deals are qualified and are to be pursued with a closing plan VS which deals are to be passed back to the Sales Development team for nurturing.
- Procure partner relationships and work with the Channel Partner Manager to execute the appropriate business development plans.
- Provide consistent feedback to the Sales Development team about the quality of their meetings.
- Accurately forecast your pipeline and commit to a dollar amount of closed business on a monthly basis.
- Meet weekly with assigned Sales Development Representatives to map a target strategy for accounts.
- Ensure that the strategies and plans put in place are being executed by each SDR member via the Inside Sales Manager.
- Take part in weekly pipeline strategy sessions with your US Sales Manager
- Involve internal resources in deals where applicable.
- Manage your time to spend appropriate amounts in prospecting, existing pipeline and closed business.
- Help onboarding manager CSM team to get deals “live”. This time should be spent in delegating and assisting more than Project Managing yourself.
- Work closely with marketing and Account Executives to understand size of opportunity and producing campaigns within your vertical sector.
- Execute the “Trade Show Plan” as according to the document through delegation and self participation.
- Plan and execute business trips with a revenue generating business plan attached.
The ideal Account Executive will have the following:
- Proven work experience as individual contributor
- Experience selling $25,000-$150,000 SaaS contracts.
- 1 years in a closing role
- 3 years of sales experience
- Operate a ‘can-do / will-do’ approach to work tasks and team activities.
- Excellent communication & leadership skills
- Organized and multi-tasker
- Team Player
