Reports To: CID Sergeant/CID Captain
Location: 735 S Neely St Benton, AR 72015

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
This is a grant position that assist victims of domestic abuse in obtaining information about assistance available, preparation of orders of protection, information about how to obtain compensation under Arkansas Crime
Victims Reparations Act, assist with the court process, provide support at court, assemble court docket for
Domestic Violence Orders of Protection hearings, enter all information in tracking programs including ACIC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare orders of protection for victims of domestic violence. This duty is performed daily.

2. Provide information/assist with assistance programs available to victims of domestic violence. This duty is performed daily.

3. How to obtain compensation under Arkansas Crime Victims Reparations Act. This duty is performed daily.

4. Assist with court process and provide support at court. This duty is performed weekly.

5. Assemble court docket for Orders of Protection hearings. This duty is performed weekly.

6. Maintain four tracking programs for Domestic Violence information. This duty is performed daily.

7. Enter/modify status of Orders of Protection in ACIC. This duty is performed daily.

8. Personal contact with victims of Domestic Violence. This duty is performed daily.

9. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
ACIC I & II

WORKING CONDITIONS
Somewhat disagreeable working conditions. Continuously exposed to one or two elements such as noise, intermittent standing, walking; and occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting.

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; and ability to adjust focus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The position involves regular and irregular hours needed to perform related duties. Work hours may be extended in the event of an emergency, disaster, manpower shortage, workload and work-in-progress. The term of this grant runs from October 1 to September 30 of the following year at which time, if feasible, another application will be submitted for this grant.
