This position requires a highly motivated, results-driven individual to oversee the procurement of beauty products at the best commercial and quality conditions. This position will focus on replenishment to maintain optimum inventory levels. This includes new item research, approval and set-up process; supplier relations; point of contact for other departments; and working with marketing and sales department
Your role:
- Purchasing and inventory control tasks and the procurement and logistics needs for incoming materials.
- Frequent contact with vendors, including handling discrepancies with quantity and quality.
- Prepares purchase orders.
- Evaluates computer generated inventory levels and over rides as required.
- Ability to forecast future purchasing requirements, particularly seasonal items.
- Communicate with vendors and internal customers order statuses and new product information.
- Application of inventory control measures, forecasting and demand analysis in order to ensure accurate material data.
- Management of purchasing assortments, coordinating and discussing ideas with management
- Negotiation and definition of agreements with suppliers;
- Management of suppliers' end of the year rebates and other contributions;
- Definition of assortments and price of promotional items (Christmas, Summer, etc.)
- Promotional ordering of supplies and special items, coherently with the annual marketing calendar.
- Researching new fashion and beauty products;
- Managing of selling price and margins of the purchased products;
- Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues with need purchase items.

Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Buyer/Purchaser
- Competency in all aspects of the purchasing process
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with solid decision making skills
- Strong basic math abilities
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- The ability to form relationships and communicate professionally with suppliers and people at all levels of the organization
- The ability to identify multiple projects and prioritize them in order to meet required deadlines.
- The drive to stay with projects until completed.
- The ability to travel for short periods of time for training and meetings
- Knowledge of the professional beauty (hair care) industry is a plus

We work on a rotating schedule to minimize number of people in the office at a time as well as space desks accordingly to socially distance. Masks are required in common areas and anytime you leave your desk.
