Job Description: The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial
and accounting activities within the organization. This includes managing the
the accounting department, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with
financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior
management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
