Salt & Barrel is Suffolk County's first true oyster/craft cocktail bar and seafood house. We are an independent family owned restaurant; located in the heart of Main Street Bay Shore. We are excited to announce, that we are searching for experienced and cordial people to join our team.
This posting is for our oyster shucker position. The oyster shucker will be responsible for setting up, maintaining and cleaning the oyster station each shift and creating raw bar plates for our guests. Qualified candidates will have experience in cleanly opening oysters and clams with speed under demanding circumstances. The oyster bar is located in the bar room, making this is a highly visible position, so candidates must be well groomed and able to warmly interact with guests. The job pays an hourly wage. Pay is commensurate with experience.
