Salty's Seafood Grills in West Seattle is seeking talented Food Expo to join our team.
Required Shifts:
- Saturday mornings through lunch shift.
- Sunday dinner shift.
- Monday dinner shift.
The Food Expo is responsible for setting the pace and flow in the kitchen itself; you will finalize the presentation of all menu items and serve as a liaison between front of the house staff and our chefs.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in food expediting.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reports to Manager on Duty.
- Complete opening and closing checklists.
- Understands and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
- Sets up expo line and is prepared for service.
- Finalizes all dishes prior to being served.
- Serve as a communication liaison between front of the house staff and chefs.
- Control pace of kitchen and ensure all tickets are being prepared in a timely fashion.
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen Assists others in closing the kitchen.
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
- Engages guests as they pass the line.
