Position Description:
Responsible for organizing, staffing, and monitoring banquet functions. Supervise, train, and evaluate banquet and service staff. Coordinate and oversee physical set-up requirements. Requisition and maintain control over inventories of china, glassware, silverware, equipment, and uniforms.
Job Functions
- Work with the Banquet and/or Catering Directors to manage, organize, and monitor banquet events.
- Coordinate and oversee physical setup requirements and execution.
- Requisition and maintain control over inventories of china, glassware, silverware, equipment, and uniforms.
- Interact and coordinate details with other departments.
- Responsible for personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluating, promoting, counseling, and discharging.
Position Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Three (3) years of experience in the same or similar position preferred.
- Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
- Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
