Samaritan Ministries seeks full-time Assistant Director. Samaritan has a 41-year history of providing food, shelter and hope through Christian love in our community. This position serves as an agency leader who builds bridges between daytime and nighttime shelter activities to ensure continuity of care for shelter guests. Weekly routine includes daytime hours with occasional evening or weekend duties. Responsibilities include supervising case management and partnership activities, managing the facility, serving on the management team, supervising staff and moving guests toward positive solutions. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field along with at least 5-7 years professional experience working with people in crisis and supervising staff. Must be proficient in MS Office suite and familiar with database management (HMIS a plus). Social work training or substance use counseling preferred along with problem-solving abilities, listening skills and motivational interviewing. Pay: $58,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
