Samet is seeking a Client Services Regional Manager whose primary role will be serving many of our best clients across Charlotte by being the primary service contact following construction completion.  Many of these clients need assistance with scoping, managing, and closing out service-related work on a range of construction projects, or they may have new construction opportunities at existing facilities or new facilities

As Client Services Regional Manager Assistant, you will own the client relationship with respect to planning, communication, management, execution, and completion of maintenance and service work. You will actively engage with clients to evaluate their needs, determine services required, and manage the process of “solving the problem” through customer satisfaction. For identified new construction, you will coordinate with our preconstruction team to maintain client communication through to contract execution. In this role, your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Facilitate and assist the project team a positive construction project close-out experience for the client, using the Buildr software
  • Maintain consistent communication and positive relationships with
  • Assess field conditions to identify causes and solutions of reported maintenance or service issues
  • Secure reported maintenance or service areas to prevent further damage or impacts
  • Document all aspects of identified service issues
  • Coordinate and schedule with internal Team, 11 Month walkthrough with Clients
  • Plan, scope, schedule and manage or perform all required repair or maintenance services while maintaining effective stakeholder and customer communication
  • Confirm client needs or issues are resolved to the client’s satisfaction
  • Coordinate with the accounting team to manage, track and report expenditures by project
  • Handle sensitive or confidential projects on customer premises or in occupied facilities
  • Participate in the development of construction ‘best practices’ that continuously improve the performance of Samet project teams and assure quality across all Samet projects

Qualifications & Characteristics

 We are most interested in people with the following knowledge and experience: 

Customer Service – Your attitude and communication skills demonstrate that you realize that how each project ends is the key opportunity to create an ongoing relationship for future business opportunities. You are service-oriented leader-communicator with a strong sense of urgency to move projects to completion.

 Construction Knowledge – You are familiar with a wide range of construction techniques and materials.  You have a strong working knowledge of at least one or more of the following areas:  building envelope systems (roofing, walls, flashing, drainage), concrete, subsurface utilities, structural systems or primary service infrastructure systems (HVAC, electrical, fire protection); and a good familiarity with each of the other areas.

Field & Industry Experience – You gained your construction knowledge ‘on the job’, whether by doing, leading or supervising the work in the field.  You have five or more years of experience in the construction industry, including supervision in commercial / industrial or multi-family construction, OR as an MEP trade superintendent who meets the posted qualifications.

Project Management – Your skills include work scope development, preparing/issuing work orders or vendor contracts, project scheduling, change management and invoice review and approval.

 Excellent computer skills required; familiarity or experience with Procore software strongly preferred.
