Manager, Internal Controls

What you can expect as a Manager, Internal Controls:

Responsible for leading and managing the Internal Controls department in a multi-company/multi-site environment for all areas across Shared Services Divisions. Provide high quality, efficient, and timely services to members of Sammons Financial Group (SFG) member companies. Provide oversight in the administration of an internal control program designed to provide assurance that controls embedded into processes and procedures are effective and measurable. Manage control processes designed to establish and monitor Shared Services divisional procedures, standards, specifications and reports.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2-4 years previous managerial or supervisory experience required
• 4-7 years Insurance experience required
• High level of accountability and integrity with particular attention to accuracy.
• Effective leadership, decision-making and motivational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks or multiple areas of responsibility.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, including listening, oral and written.
