We are seeking a Quality Technician to join our team in Camarillo, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting inspections and product verifications per the quality documentation/drawings.
  • Use a wide range of inspection equipment including (but not limited to): Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Verniers, Height Master/Gauge, Gauge Blocks, Pins, Thread Gauges, CMM, Laser Tracker, Inspection Arm
  • Accurate completion of inspection reports and filing and retrieval of same
  • Perform duties as required to ensure the efficient and consistent operation of the inspection area, shipping and the quality system
  • Manage and administer the Quality System in accordance with the company Quality Manual, ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D and other applicable standards and customer requirements.
  • Resolve all issues relating to quality with the customer.
  • Assists with internal and external auditing functions as required.
  • Guides corrective action teams to facilitate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate’s system improvements as identified by quality audits or product non-conformances
  • Assists other departments and functions in understanding the details of the quality system

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience; post-secondary education in quality or related discipline considered an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience in a custom machining environment
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015/AS9100D
