Duties & Responsibilities
Job Summary
The position reports directly to the Dean, School of Science, Math, and Engineering and will teach 15 load hours per semester of primarily freshman and sophomore college level mathematics classes and perform other teaching related duties.

The position reports directly to the Dean, School of Science, Math, and Engineering and will teach 15 load hours per semester of primarily freshman and sophomore college level mathematics classes and perform other teaching related duties.
Essential Responsibilities
- The position reports directly to the Dean of the School of Science, Math, and Engineering and will teach 15 load hours per semester of primarily freshman and sophomore college level mathematics classes.
- Responsibilities will also include organizing and maintaining curricula in mathematics; developing and revising instructional materials as appropriate; keeping student records; assisting in recommending and orienting part-time faculty; and working with college councils and committees as assigned.
The instructor will maintain a minimum of five office hours per week.
Day and evening classes can be expected. Will be required to teach at the satellite campuses as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree in Mathematics is required.
- Experience with interactive instructional methods is highly desired.
- Access to home internet, a personal computer, and telephone is required.
- Demonstrate skill and willingness to learn and use multiple technology platforms to communicate with students.
