Are you a Colorado licensed C.N.A. with a passion for direct patient care, specifically with Infusion/Oncology patients? If you have the ability to work amongst a group of nurses and providers, are a master multi-tasker and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love for you to apply for this position on our Infusion team! The position will work an eight-hour day shift from Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend coverage.
We are also willing to look at Certified Medical Assistants for this role as well.
What You'll Need:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), verifiable through DORA, or Certified Nurse Aide (CNA), verifiable through DORA, or successful completion of a State Approved EMT course and current Colorado Certification.
- Current BLS certification prior to date of hire.
What You'll Do:
- Greet patients, answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments
- Perform administrative duties as directed
- Take and record vital signs, including height and weight
- Explain treatment procedures to patients
- Prepare patients for infusion treatments
- Assist nursing staff during examination and procedures
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
- Perform basic laboratory tests on the premises and dispose of contaminated supplies
- Sterilize medical instruments
- Order supplies
