What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Surveyor position at Sandis?
Bryant Surveys has an immediate opening for a Project Surveyor to join our team in Pleasanton, CA. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated and driven by client satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Preparing and processing the office calculated data, field collected data, and sketches
- Creation of reports for a variety of structural steel surveys: included but not limited to anchor bolt, plumb and elevation, top of steel or column, embed surveys
- Coordinate survey findings with others
- Ensure that all personnel and materials are available for planned work orders when needed
- Prioritize all work in progress
- Inform the Division Manager of any problems and exceptions to work plans
- Maintain excellent working relationships with all team members
- Coordinate with field crews and local agencies
- Maintain awareness of budgets and schedules
Basic Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4 years’ experience in all types of surveys with a focus on building construction
- LSIT Preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Bluebeam
- Ability to travel throughout the Western US on short notice
- Continued employment is dependent on meeting project-specific requirements.
- OSHA 10 Certification; OSHA 30 preferred
