Position: Assessment & Intake Therapist
Location: Crownsville, Maryland
Work Environment: Adolescent Residential Treatment Center
Schedule: Full Time | Monday to Friday
Compensation: $60,000 - 76,000 Annual Salary (based on licensed experience) $3,000 Sign on Bonus
Position Overview: The Assessment & Intake Coordinator is responsible for management of completing assessments, coordinating intakes, and completing necessary UR for the facility's partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programs. Engages family throughout the assessment process in order to help support the client in starting in the appropriate programming. Interacts with members of the medical/clinical team to provide an initial service plan and admission summary. In addition, supports timely discharge planning that is lead by the primary therapist. Coordinates information between third party payers and medical/clinical staff members. Interacts with members of the medical/clinical team to provide a flow of communication and a medical record which documents and supports level and intensity of service rendered. All duties are to be done in accordance with Joint Commission, Federal and State regulations.

Training & Experience:
- Licensed clinician in the state of Maryland is required - LGPC / LCPC / LMSW / LCSW / LMFT
- Experience working with families, young adults, and adolescents
- Previous experience with substance abuse treatment is preferred; preferred experience with a treatment facility in the detox, residential, partial hospitalization (“PHP”), and/or intensive outpatient (“IOP) settings with specific experience conducting assessment and completing utilization reviews
