Job Overview:
As a Project Manager specializing in Environmental Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of environmental initiatives in accordance with client requirements and regulatory standards. Serving as the primary point of contact for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), you will play a critical role in ensuring project delivery, adherence to timelines, and overall client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing diverse environmental projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing environmental projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is desirable.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for the planning, execution, and completion of environmental projects.
Client Relationship Management:
Act as the main liaison between the Contractor and USACE, fostering strong and positive relationships.
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and issues affecting project delivery and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet or exceed established standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders, including progress updates, issues, and resolutions.
