Job Title: Project Manager - Federal Prison Industries
Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds Base
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management.
- 5 years management experience with contracts pertaining to GFEBS Plant Maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Overall Contract Performance: Lead and oversee all aspects of the project.
- Site Management: Act as the primary point of contact and representative for the contractor on-site, managing daily operations and interactions with the government.
- Delegation and Oversight: Designate and train an Alternate Project Manager to act in your absence and ensure smooth transitions.
- Contractual Authority: Represent the contractor in all official matters related to the contract, including negotiations, meetings, and conflict resolution.
- On-site Availability: Be present and accessible during regular business hours (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday) except for government holidays and facility closures.
- Team Leadership: Guide and motivate assigned personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and consistent communication with government representatives, providing regular progress reports and updates.
- Problem-solving and Risk Management: Proactively identify potential issues, develop solutions, and manage risks to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to contract specifications.
- Data Management: Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting related to asset management, work orders, and maintenance activities.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage project budget, ensuring responsible allocation and expenditure of resources.
