SaaS Product Marketing Manager
Location: Toronto, Canada or Huntsville, AL
Sangoma is an industry-leading, profitable and growing Communication as a Service (CaaS) company, with a complete end-to-end communications product portfolio, including a wide range of cloud offerings, including Unified Communications, Video Meetings, Mobility, Fax, SIP Trunking, and CPaaS with future offerings planned.
The Product Marketing Manager reports to the Manager of Product Marketing and is responsible for creating, driving, and executing end-to-end marketing plans for specific communication-oriented products and some industry initiatives and creating product marketing collateral to support the marketing plans. The focus of this position will be to support the Sangoma Communications as a Service portfolio and offers, with an initial focus on Sangoma’s Collaboration, Video Meetings, Packaged Applications, and Contact Center offerings.
This position is responsible for supporting the End User and Channel Marketing functions in marketing, which generate market demand for the Sangoma products identified above.
This position collaborates with product line managers, other marketing personnel, and sales to understand and positively impact the roadmap to ensure it aligns with market trends, customer input, and corporate direction. This position will also collaborate with corporate and GEO marketing team members in campaign execution.
Your Role:
- Be the champion of the product to sales.
- Launch new products and major updates to sales and the channel.
- Develop and deliver sales and marketing content to help sales drive opportunities to closure. This includes the creation of product “golden” presentations, white papers, technical briefs, datasheets, video “data sheets”, success story collateral, sales enablement tools, competitive information, and other unique collateral such as infographics as appropriate.
- Identify winnable target market segments and develop compelling and sustainable product positioning to address those segments.
- Create and execute marketing campaigns for your products.
- Develop, own and drive end-to-end product marketing strategies and global marketing plans for your respective products. This includes clearly identifying the needs and profiles of key customers by interacting with them on sales calls, at tradeshows, during webinars, etc.
- Collaborate with end-user and channel marketing and sales to develop and execute effective lead generation and sales programs. Work with marketing to routinely evaluate and measure go-to-market program results and adapt plans based on learnings.
Your Background:
- Minimum 3 years experience with sales, product marketing, or product management within a cloud communications provider organization.
- Previous experience launching /doing marketing for a SaaS offering
- BA or BS in Marketing or Engineering (technology concentration a plus).
- Self-starter with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced business environment
- Outstanding oral, written, presentation, and analytic skills.
- Strong project management and team-building skills, including the ability to motivate and influence others to accomplish
