JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Manager oversees the HRBP- FL and FL Payroll & Benefits process provides guidance to FL Market leadership team regarding the areas of Human Resource operations, performance management, employee relations, policies, benefits and compensation, diversity and EEO. Conducts investigations and brings resolution to Compliance and HR issues.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs HR related duties at the professional level while supporting more than one functional group. Will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition; employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application; and talent management consultation.
- The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
- Manages the employee benefit programs for all Florida company facilities, including filing all Health & Welfare Plan Tax forms for applicable benefit plans.
- Administers oversees the FL Retirement Plan, including and not limited to approval of withdrawals, Tax Form 5500 filing, plan internal audits compliant with plan guidelines.
- Administrates HR guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Bridge FL market management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and other issues.
- Reviews and final approver for the FL Region payroll bi-weekly submission.
- Responsible for managing the workflow to ensure payroll and benefit transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Responsible for the performance management, hiring and termination of the FL employees within the department.
- Conducts exit interviews of all terminated/departing employees.
- Participates in periodical meetings and event as required by the FL business leadership, administrative staff meetings.
- Ensures and maintains legal compliance with federal, FL state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations throughout human resource management.
- Other duties as assigned by USA HR Director.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field.
- Previous HR project management experience required
- Working knowledge of Human Resources concepts, laws, regulations and legal terminology.
- Demonstrates ability to build mutually productive relationships and interact with management and key partner groups
- Experience working in a high-paced, changing and rapid growth environment.
- Over eight years of human resource experience, 3 years at least supervising HR teams
- Strong knowledge of HR and payroll best practices.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Bi-lingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience.
