What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP of Sales position at Sanitas?
Oversees patient and commercial group growth at New Jersey Sanitas Medical Centers with a strong focus on driving awareness and value proposition to employer group prospects and their consultants. Builds relationships with all stakeholders and driving initiatives to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and commitments made.
Essential Job Functions
· Oversee the development of commercial growth of Sanitas patient acquisition and retention through the payer’s group segment team, group benefits consultants and employer relationships.
· Support growth of individual patient volume across segments.
· Generate, develop, and qualify potential leads with targeted businesses through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, canvassing, client referrals, consultant/broker referrals and other partner relationships to include payer partners.
· Create and manage a go to market strategy for the employer group segment, collaborating with various Sanitas team members.
· Maintain and cultivate relationships throughout Sanitas’ health plan partners as well as with internal stakeholders to facilitate successful implementation of the different initiatives and provide feedback to improve member and client experience.
· Partner with partner resources to co-develop and execute business development business plan, KPIs and strategy for partnerships and/or Joint Venture relationships.
· Build relationships with new brokerage firms and expand relationship with existing brokerage firms serving market-based employers.
· Ensure timely and appropriate follow-up after receiving leads with complete profile of client information, including calls-to-action, sources, and dates.
· Create and deliver professional, effective, face-to-face sales presentations to match Sanitas services with identified client needs.
· Communicate broadly on status of the different projects, managing expectations appropriately. Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain coordinated.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge on full scope of Sanitas operations and services.
· Monitor competitive activity and market conditions, providing feedback and suggestions to management.
· Use market data to maximize effective sales presentations and closing.
· Manage sales pipeline and opportunities in various stages through close, continually updating CRM.
· Achieve and exceed assigned sales objectives.
· Participate in targeted customer entertainment activities, sales meetings, training programs, and conferences as identified and/or directed.
· Responsible for the successful transition to implementation and account management post-close.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree.
· 5-10 years B2B sales, with healthcare B2B experience and sales team management preferred.
· Previous experience with (or selling into) healthcare brokerages or consulting firms preferred.
· Previous experience selling group benefits preferred.
