Position Summary:
The Product Quality Assurance (PQA) Department goal is to ensure, enhance and maintain the integrity of SanMar products from development through finished goods for color, product integrity and quality. This position will be shared between the PQA teams to support the increasing workload for color, product integrity and product quality control tasks allowing the team to focus on Product Quality Assurance strategies and a variety of improvement initiatives.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support Product Quality Assurance teams in various daily tasks.
• Research product issues, questions or projects as required.
• Generate requests and track data and/or status as assigned.
• Data management, record keeping, and reporting.
• Editing documents, procedures and forms for accuracy and completeness.
• Input new materials into the fabric library chart after final adopt.
• Maintain color filing system.
• Administer and execute color standards program including assembling standards.
• Audit systems to make sure data is captured as required.
• Assist with requesting product samples from inventory and restocking for sale.
• Other tasks, projects, and activities pertinent with a growing department with strategic plans.

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Capable of accurate collecting, understanding, and reporting data.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data systems.
• Related experience in business administrative support responsibilities.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work environment is moderately quiet office environment.
