JOB TITLE:  AP Administrative Support

Shift:  5A Monday-Friday
 

Provides administrative and clerical support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details. May coordinate messages, appointments, information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies and mail. Researches, compiles and proofs word processing assignments. Operates automated office equipment. May be assigned to various functional areas of the company.

JOB TITLE:  AP Administrative Support
Shift:  5A Monday-Friday

Job Purpose:

Provides administrative and clerical support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details. May coordinate messages, appointments, information to callers, file maintenance, department office supplies and mail. Researches, compiles and proofs word processing assignments. Operates automated office equipment. May be assigned to various functional areas of the company.

NATURE OF WORK:


·  Receive, open, and sort incoming mail.
·  Retrieve invoice copies upon request via archives or electronic files.
·  Performing research to resolve issues within OCR software
·  Archival of hard copy invoices as necessary
·  Utilizing Excel spreadsheets
·  Perform other duties and additional tasks as assigned and deemed necessary

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


·  High school diploma or equivalent
·  Experience in Accounts Payable preferred and very helpful
·  Good communication skills
·  Basic knowledge of Word and Excel is necessary
·  Experience with E-Mail programs
·  Teamwork: must be able to interact effectively with diverse members of a work-group
