Position Purpose
SANS LATAM is seeking a high-energy and experienced Sales and Business Development professional to build our market from the “bottom up” in Sao Paolo and Brasilia with a focus on the commercial organizations and major government organizations in Brazil.
Position Responsibilities
- Promotion of SANS’ profile at Brazilian Cybersecurity Industry events, including brand awareness building through monthly community nights and other customer engagement activities.
- Prospecting, qualifying, and securing new customer relationships with Government and Enterprise clients in Brazil.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships by delivering the highest standards of service and responsiveness to new and existing accounts.
- Maintaining and growing business through a variety of sales activities, including telephone and direct email campaigns to SANS alumni, SANS webcast attendees, other Leads, and to existing SANS sales contacts.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related technical field, MBA is a big plus.
- A minimum of five years of Sales or Business development experience in Brazil with verifiable quota attainment preferably in technology.
- Full fluency in both written and spoken Brazilian Portuguese language (i.e., native speaker).
- The proven ability to personally negotiate and close contracts from $25k to $1M .
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal work hours.
Preferred Experience
- A results-driven mindset and motivation to achieve target KPIs for the Brazilian market – e.g., customer list expansion, growing our Brazil webcast attendees and ultimately the number of students we train in the Brazilian market (and the associated revenue targets).
- Proven ability to work independently as you will be our sole team member on the ground in Brazil initially and in collaboration with our regional Sales and Marketing teams.
- Demonstrated ability in public speaking, client program management, and creating strategic market alliances with large Brazilian technology partners.
- Highest level of integrity, honesty, and accountability in all that you do. You will be a trusted business advisor who always does what’s best for the customer and SANS.
- An ‘ROI mindset’ as it relates to all sales territory travel and sales efforts.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, Tableau and Zoom.
