Catering Warehouse & Equipment Manager

Santoni’s Marketplace & Catering is seeking a bright, high energy and motivated individual to join our team as a Full time Catering Warehouse & Equipment Manager. The successful Manager will demonstrate expertise in implementing a comprehensive inventory control system, ensure outstanding collaboration with our Catering Events and Sales Team and expedite the smooth and flawless operation of our catering events. We need that special person who is organized, detail oriented and an outstanding communicator.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing and managing the end bay storage room for all catering event equipment and supplies
• Assist with maintenance of equipment; proper cleaning, labeling, storing, ensuring all is in working order.
• Manage inventory of supplies.
• Order equipment from appropriate vendors and work with Finance to ensure billing accuracy.
• Responsible for assisting with Rental Check-in and Check-out: organizing delivery and returns of rental equipment to venues and rental companies
• Responsible for attending and executing catering events from the set-up to the break-down.
• Responsible for assisting catering sales team in various aspects of catering sales & customer service:
• Organizing and creating delivery schedules, payment tickets, queries and pick up orders
• Responsible for maintenance of Site Location Database in Caterease software.
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience: High school diploma or its equivalent is required; 3 - 5years’ experience in catering and food service with proven track record of supervisory success preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and email use
• Excellent organizational abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communications skills, both oral and written
• Strong strategic thinker with a systematic approach to inventory control and fleet management
• Completes work in a timely manner by planning, prioritizing, and adjusting as needed.
• Works independently and completes tasks with little to no supervision.
• Knowledge of venues and site managers
• Ability to diffuse agitated situations and operate effectively and professionally under pressure.

Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
