What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Sany America?
The Opportunity
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform monthly general ledger close out to provide financial reports and provide meaningful management reports. This may include performing other tasks such as accounts payable processing and account reconciliations.
Reconcile intercompany accounts and communicate with various business units.
Completes various month-end close tasks including calculation and preparation of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Prepares and analyzes accounting data by processing and interpreting accounts such as general ledgers and subledgers.
Support sales tax software system including uploading certificates and adding new customers.
Carries out ad hoc reports/assignments as needed.
Ensures all financial schedules and deadlines are met.
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal departments.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will:
0 to 3 years accounting experience
Strong understanding and working knowledge of US GAAP
Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
Bilingual (English/Chinese)
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University with degree in accounting.
