Position Overview:
Be a part of a stellar team that will build the next generation of business commerce applications. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to expand the Ariba Cloud to cover every corner of the globe. As an Ariba engineer you will be empowered to build world-class products with the following at your disposal:
- A technology stack that includes the best of the available open-source technologies
- Exposure to the latest architectural styles like micro-services
- Best practices like agile methodologies, design thinking, and continuous deployment that will allow you to innovate really fast
- Top of the line UX designers allowing you to create unparalleled user experience on Desktop or Mobile
More importantly, you will work with a team of really talented and passionate individuals eager to transform business commerce.
- Develop advanced Android applications and integrate with back-end services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Translate designs and mockups into high-quality code
- Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Qualifications
- 3 years of Android framework and Android application development
- Strong OO design and programming skills in Java Android and Kotlin
- Knowledge of the Android SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Published examples of mobile applications is a plus
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
