SAP NS2 Principal SAP S/4 HANA Finance Consultant - Virtual

ROLE:
SAP S/4 HANA Finance Principal Consultant must possess configuration level expertise in one or more of the following solution areas: Financial Accounting (FI), Managerial Accounting (CO), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), General Ledger accounting (FI-GL), Public Sector Management (PSM) – Funds Management (PSM-FM), Fund Accounting (PSM-FA), Order to Cash (OTC) etc. Knowledge of Resource-Related Billing and Project Earned Value preferred but not required.
Candidate must be able to apply experience and knowledge to provide guidance on leading practices in the finance domain. Must demonstrate critical-thinking skills to understand, evaluate and analyze customer requirements and recommend solutions based on software functionality. Experience in US Federal, State and local government full life cycle implementations and configuration preferred.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA.
- Application of general S/4 Finance expertise, business processes, best practices, and associated configuration knowledge to support the implementation.
- Participation in all phases of testing, script development, issue resolution.
- Educate customer on relevant S/4 processes and functionality.
- Support go live and post go live efforts.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in SAP ECC or S/4 implementations as a Finance and/or Public Sector Funds Management resource.
- Minimum of 1 end to end Public Sector Funds Management implementations with US Federal agency or US State and local governments
- Expertise in document splitting/fund accounting configuration
- Experience in requirements gathering, documentation and development.
- Expertise in transactions associated with Fund, Fund Center, Commitment items, budget entry, supplements, transfers, returns, funds reservations, funds commitments, budgetary ledger, special purpose ledger, and budget version planning; perform year end close; enable automatic availability control/checking; and reconcile differences between AVC and FM ledgers. Candidate must have expertise with MM, SD, and FI to integrate functionality.
- Expertise in define, configure, develop, and test key processes that drive SAP ECC/S4 Order to Cash functionality.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions or any of the listed functionalities above.
QUALIFICATION:
- Minimum 4-year University degree or equivalent work experience
- Certification in S/4 HANA 1709 or higher
- English: Fluent
- Travel: 0-100%, depending on customer location and requirement for on-site support. During the COVID-19 pandemic, consultants are working with clients virtually.

SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 146,000 - 326,100 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
