Core Source to Pay / Procurement / Material Management Portfolio- Services Architect Profile: S/4HANA Materials Management Applications – MM, SRM, Ariba, Business Networks and QM. Oil & Gas Industry Experience as well as Discrete Industries Experience (High-Tech, IM&C, Automotive, A&D), other Industry experience a plus.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The Services Architect – Source to Pay / Procurement / Materials Management Portfolio facilitates the implementation and support of the SAP Core Source to Pay / Procurement / Materials Management, S/4HANA Application Portfolio Suite to enhance the clients’ business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. In addition, the Services Architect will partner with the client to analyze and define business requirements, processes and objectives to scope project and deliverables for same. Understand and articulate SAP Best Practices. The Services Architect will facilitate workshops, perform fit / gap analysis, oversee functional and technical specifications for development, perform the design authority role, implement the design, configure, customize and test solutions on client system and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed; as well as:

• Be actively involved in the preparation, conceptualization, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects
• Perform feasibility studies and process design reviews
• Coordinate migration, conversion, and data cut-over activities
• Facilitate Master Data design for their application area of expertise
• Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks
• Understand and articulate SAP Services Portfolio and make recommendations accordingly.
• Provide both SAP Services Consulting in addition to some Business type Consulting as needed.
• Services Architect will support the Domains of Application Architect, Data Architect, Business Architect, Enterprise Architect, and Cloud Architect depending on the Customer requirements.
• Develop detailed plan of process implementation
• Define detailed blueprint for development requirements
• Lead industry /corporate process implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP)
• Develop and Assure quality of process models
• Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools

• Assist in the development of the overall project plan (scoping process) as well as individual work plans; acting as liaison with client for troubleshooting (investigates, analyses, and solves software problems)
• Analyze and map clients’ business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.
• Support the NA Services Organization with implementation projects, pre-sales support (estimating), spot consulting and internal projects and commit to the success of customers, partners, colleagues, and SAP
• Be familiar with SAP Cloud applications (Public, Private, Hybrid Models), and integration with various Hyper-Scalers and Edge Computing.
• Have knowledge of SAP RISE and SAP SWIFT offerings as well as SAP BTP Strategy.
• Have knowledge of SAP Industry 4.0 and Industry Cloud Approaches.

Position Requirements

In addition to a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline, and a minimum of seven years’ progressive experience, the successful candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 7 years consulting experience. Graduate degree a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Core Source to Pay / Procurement / Materials Management / Quality Management Application Portfolio Suite business processes and SAP best practices
• Expertise in latest release of components of the Core Logistics, and SCM Application Portfolio
• Experience with Discrete Manufacturing & Core Logistics business processes and various related industry experience
• Formal SAP certification in a related application area is a plus
• ABAP development and debugging skills a plus
• Good knowledge of SAP integration to all Core ECC Applications desirable.
• Experience with SAP Implementation Methodologies (ASAP, Activate, Sprints, Advanced Deployment, etc.).
• Knowledge of Rapid Deployment Solutions (RDS) Approach, Assemble to Order (A2O), Engineered Services (ES), Model Company, SAP Best Practices, etc.
• Knowledge of SAP’s Industry 4.0 Strategy and applications
• Knowledge of SAP’s Design to Operate (DTO) Strategy, Approach, and applications
• Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform - BTP (SAP Cloud Platform) a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within client company
• Ability to act as a team lead and or Workstream Lead
