ABOUT THE TEAM:

The SAP Business Network is the world’s largest B2B network that makes it easy for trading partners to collaborate on transactions, strengthen their relationships, and discover new business opportunities. The Trading Partner Portal team is building a unified, collaborative, and intelligent platform to connect all participants in SAP networks and third-party networks. This empowers our customers to have one central place to work with their trading partners. THE ROLE:

We are looking for a strong UI architect (Angular) who is passionate about architecting and building intuitive web applications that millions of users will love.

Responsibilities:

• Lead our UI Software Development Kit technical design discussions
• Architect efficient and reusable systems that power our multiple web applications
• Design and develop prototypes for advanced features and designs
• Collaborate with design team to implement clean and elegant user experience
• Own all aspects of feature implementation from design to delivery
• Guide direction of UI strategy/implementation and mentorship to peers
• Conduct code reviews across the program and enforce best practices/coding standards
• Collaborate with Application Architects to design backend systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 8 years of software development experience, with emphasis on Front End and UI/UX development.
• Deep working knowledge of Angular and/or React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS or SASS and cross-browser compatibility
• Expertise in UI/UX design patterns and best practices
• Strong experience in building User Interfaces for data intensive platforms
• Deep understanding of REST principles and experience working with HTTP REST/JSON
• Hands-on experience with core dev-ops tooling and best practices and manage this at a platform level
• Hands-on experience for managing large UI product from delivery, code-quality and maintenance perspective
• Hands-on experience with automated test frameworks like Jasmine, Karma, Protractor etc.
• Knowledge of build process like Grunt/Gulp etc. including Linting, Compiling, Minifying
• Experience in managing the deployments and build frameworks
• Experience with accessibility is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
