Overview

Saratoga Medical has an immediate opening for a Biochemist (Level 3) at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) in Rockville, MD.   

Responsibilities

  • Perform research activities in a laboratory environment 
  • Work with the Antiviral Program for Pandemics to identify and develop anti-virals
  • Develop research plans for new projects, including strategies for primary and secondary screens and advanced characterization 
  • Tissue culture, passaging, and plating and cell line engineering to create cell-based reporter assays

Qualifications

  • Must have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology
  • Must have a minimum of three years of experience 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong at maintaining accurate and detailed records of laboratory experiments
